ECB Cards
Not enough ECB team cards were handed out at the Spring meeting. Extra cards will be posted out to clubs
Umpiring Course
This was rated a success. The committee will be considering what to do for next year. Up to two clubs may receive a penalty for failing to attend.
Nine Elms
Nine Elms will play their Division 5 home games at Sir Thomas Rich's school. This is a short term fix for this season, arranged when they lost the use of the Old Richians ground and club house. We will work with Nine Elms to see what happens in the long run.
Player registration
By and large this is now working. Two or three clubs are finding it difficult - the rest are following the prescribed methods and not having problems. We have picked up a case of a player trying to get games with different clubs, and have stopped it.
Facilities reports
Most arrived on time, and defaulters will be warned for their first offence. From the reports we can spot problems early and ask clubs to take corrective action. We have had comments that the tea received was not worth £35. That is not really the point - the fee is fixed to even out the cost, and the quality mark is against what you expect for a cricket tea, not what you expect for £35.
Score cards
Very encouraging - nearly all have been filled in. Again, warnings will be issued where they have not been. Clubs will be encouraged to check the scorecards even if they are the home team - to get names and individuals' stats right.
